Carlos Stafford The Model Critic - New York Theater & Ballet Reviews

Born in San Diego, CA and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Carlos Stafford is a fashion, commercial and runway model.  He has been photographed in Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Munich, Amsterdam, Zurich, France, Milan and the United States logging in more than fifty television spots, advertising campaigns, catalogues and film.  He is a graduate of the Academy of Dramatic Arts and a graduate of San Francisco State University where he earned a B.A. in Literature and was later an assistant to the Editor-in-Chief for trade paperbacks at Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich.

In his younger years, Carlos Stafford was a member of the American Peace Corps in Colombia, S.A. where, for two years, he worked in rural community development programs.  After his service, he walked the continent of South America visiting every country.  Upon his return he began a pursuit in dance and via an enrollment at the Berkeley Dance Department studying the Martha Graham technique.  He went on to study with the Oakland Ballet Co., Alvin Ailey and Joffrey School of American Ballet.  He is currently pursuing his goals as a triathlete, competing in Half-Ironmans.  Carlos loves to travel, has been to fifty countries, lived in many of them for extended periods of time, loved them all and would like to see some more.  He presently resides in New York City.
